About the show apartment
Richmond Wood Norton apartments are spacious, well planned and situated just a few minutes’ walk from the Village centre building with its stunning facilities.  The exclusive apartments are located in a number of different positions, offering a choice of view over the surrounding countryside and woodland.

Designed for today’s modern living, these large, spacious and light properties feature design touches such as fully equipped fitted kitchens and walk-in showers, and with comfort and ease of use carefully considered throughout.

The show apartment includes two bedrooms, one with an en-suite wet room, a main bathroom, a large sitting room, kitchen, large utility and store room.

Facing southwest with views over the landscaped grounds and beyond to the Vale of Evesham, the show apartment offers 1,078 sq ft of accommodation.  There is lift access to all floors including the underground parking, access to the gardens via its own private patio, and is on the market at £480,000.

“We want to give people a real flavour for what living at a Richmond village is like, and ensure they get the information they need on all aspects of Richmond retirement living,” says Philippa Fieldhouse, managing director of Richmond Villages.  “Construction is progressing well and we are on schedule to welcome the first residents in spring 2019.  We are delighted with the interest shown in this development and with 50% of the apartments already sold off plan, demonstrates the demand for this type of high quality retirement accommodation.  The main Village centre building which includes the Village suites and care floor plus all the communal facilities such as restaurant, bar and wellness spa is also going to plan.

“These properties are ideal for those who want to live independently yet like the idea of being in a safe and sociable community with care and assistance close at hand if required.  We listened carefully to what our clients wanted which included having a large living space and up to two large bedrooms, especially important if someone is downsizing,” added Philippa.
Village apartments start from £307,000 and include one or two bedrooms with the master bedroom en-suite, a fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, a bathroom / wet room featuring stylish sanitary ware, an allocated underground parking space for those with a car, an emergency 24-hour call system to the on-site support team, and wellness spa membership.

Richmond Villages also offers its own domiciliary care team who are on-site 24-hours a day to provide tailored care to residents, while a care floor at the heart of the village provides the reassurance of nursing and dementia care.

Richmond Wood Norton
Located in a beautiful hillside location overlooking the Avon valley and surrounded by mature woodland, the new retirement village will occupy the site of the former BBC training college.

The new £40 million Richmond Wood Norton is within easy reach of the M5 and M42, between the riverside towns of Evesham and Pershore and close to Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester and The Cotswolds.

Due to open fully in early 2019, it will comprise 61 one and two-bedroom Independent living apartments offering an independent lifestyle, 46 Assisted living suites (one and two bedrooms) which come with a ‘hotel style’ package to help with all daily chores, and a 60-bed care floor providing 24-hour nursing and dementia support.

It will also provide unrivalled facilities including a wellness spa with 16 metre swimming pool and gym, cinema, hair and beauty salon, a lounge library, IT room, terrace café bar and restaurant, all set within beautifully landscaped grounds.  Activities, events and a village transport service will also be provided.

Richmond Wood Norton is the company’s eighth retirement village, and once completed will provide 107 homes for those over 55, and 60 care beds providing 24-hour support.

Village suites start at £231,000 and Village apartments from £307,000, and can be purchased exclusively by those over 55.
